The MOTOGYRO AZ 5 is a high-accuracy orientation instrument that integrates a precision gyroscope with a theodolite or total station. It automatically determines the true azimuth to geographic north with exceptional speed and reliability. Advanced algorithms and sensor fusion enable fully automatic “one-button” north-seeking across a complete 360° field of view. The unit is temperature calibrated and is designed for reliable operation across a wide temperature range of –20 °C to +50 °C.
