CANlink® mobile – Rugged Telematics Hardware for Global OEM Machine Connectivity

製品・サービス説明

Proemion’s CANlink® mobile series gives off-highway OEMs two powerful options to connect their machines to the cloud – each designed for different levels of complexity and ambition.

The CANlink® mobile 3600 is a CAN-based telematics control unit built for worldwide deployment. It features a global LTE module (Cat 4) with 3G/2G fallback, eliminating the need for regional hardware variants. With built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS positioning, and three CAN interfaces, the device transmits machine data bi-directionally between the field and the cloud. OEMs can record CAN performance data, run remote diagnostics, and push firmware or parameter updates over the air using the CANopen protocol. The IP6k7-rated composite housing withstands temperatures from –40 °C to +80 °C, making it ideal for the toughest construction, agriculture, and material handling environments. A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip and TLS 1.2 encryption ensure end-to-end data security. Plug-and-perform installation requires no coding – the device ships pre-configured with LED status feedback and includes store-and-forward capability so no data is lost during connectivity gaps.

The CANlink® mobile 10000 takes connectivity further. Equipped with Ethernet, it serves as an onboard router – hosting and distributing IP addresses to controllers and peripherals for significantly faster data transfer. A built-in CODESYS programming environment lets OEMs develop custom applications directly on the device. The Remote Machine Tunnel feature provides secure, on-demand remote access to displays and controllers without requiring a separate VPN infrastructure, enabling fast diagnostics, software updates, and live support from anywhere. This makes the 10000 the ideal choice for complex machine architectures, large fleets, and OEMs who need maximum flexibility and scalability.

Together, the 3600 and 10000 form a hardware portfolio that covers every connectivity need – from straightforward telematics to advanced edge computing and remote service.

DataPlatform & DataPortal – Your Scalable Cloud and Web Portal for OEM Machine Intelligence

製品・サービス説明

Turn raw machine data into actionable business insight with Proemion’s DataPlatform and DataPortal – the cloud backbone and visualization layer of a complete OEM telematics ecosystem.

The DataPlatform is an API-first cloud infrastructure built to scale from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of connected machines. It enables secure, bi-directional communication between field equipment and the cloud, so OEMs can receive telemetry data, push live updates, and send commands to their fleet in a single API call. A powerful REST API and standardized AEMP API (ISO 15143-3) make it straightforward to integrate the platform into existing IT landscapes, build custom web or mobile applications, or feed data into third-party clouds like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure via the DataPump feature. Comprehensive developer documentation ensures fast onboarding for engineering teams. The Cloud CAN Connector even allows real-time access to a machine’s CAN bus directly from the cloud.

The DataPortal is the fully customizable, white-label web interface that brings all of this data to life. Drag-and-drop dashboards let users create custom views – from fleet-wide fuel efficiency comparisons to individual machine error codes. An organization-tree feature controls data access at every level: full visibility for the OEM, restricted views for dealers, and fleet-management dashboards for end customers. Built-in maintenance workflow management keeps service tasks synchronized between the machine and the portal, enabling paperless, proactive maintenance. Automated reports answer questions about operating hours, fuel consumption, and fleet efficiency in just a few clicks. And because the portal is 100 % web-based and brand-adaptable, OEMs can roll out a professional telematics experience under their own logo and color scheme – accessible from any device, anywhere.

Local OEM Telematics – Wireless CAN Connectivity Without the Cloud

製品・サービス説明

Not every connectivity challenge requires a cellular network. Proemion’s Local OEM Telematics solution enables wireless CAN data transfer between machines, controllers, and mobile devices over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and BLE – right on the jobsite, with no cloud dependency.

The core idea is simple: replace complex cabling with a rugged, IP67-rated wireless module that transmits CAN bus data up to 450 meters (1,470 feet). This opens up a wide range of practical applications for OEMs in construction, agriculture, material handling, and beyond.

In interface mode, technicians connect wirelessly to a machine’s CAN bus using a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. This enables safe, remote diagnostics without physically plugging into the machine – reducing downtime and improving service efficiency. Using Proemion’s Remote Service Tool software or the Byte Command Protocol API, OEMs can also integrate this wireless CAN access into their own applications and branded mobile apps for iOS and Android.

In single-point bridge mode, two devices create a wireless CAN-to-CAN link between a vehicle and an attachment or docking device. Swapping attachments becomes seamless – no re-cabling, no manual reconfiguration. This is especially valuable for equipment with frequently changing implements.

In multi-point bridge mode, one device broadcasts CAN data to up to seven connected peers simultaneously. Think coordinated conveyor belt systems or multiple machines working in concert on a single site. All units stay synchronized in real time, improving overall productivity and error management.

Designed specifically for off-highway environments, the devices withstand dust, water, and the harshest working conditions. For OEMs looking to complement their global telematics strategy with local, cable-free connectivity – or as a standalone solution for machines that don’t need cellular connections – Local OEM Telematics delivers a flexible, cost-effective answer.
