DeepX is a startup originating from the Matsuo Laboratory at the University of Tokyo, a leader in AI research in Japan. With the mission of "Automating Any Machine and Innovating Global Industries" we provide automation solutions powered by AI and robotics.
To address challenges in production sites, such as labor shortages and the decline of skilled workers, we collaborate with numerous construction machinery manufacturers, general contractors, and plant operators on joint projects. We have developed autonomous driving systems for various construction machines, including pneumatic caisson excavators, backhoes, soil rollers, and bulldozers.

Real-time digital twins for construction sites service, "GeoViz"

DeepX has developed a real-time digital twin-based site visualization system to enhance the efficiency of construction management. Currently, we are conducting technical demonstrations in pneumatic caisson construction and plan to expand its application to general civil engineering sites, dredging operations, and repetitive tasks within plants in the future.

Contract Development for Electrification and Remote Control of Construction Machinery

DeepX is dedicated to automating construction machinery and realizing the next generation of construction sites. However, full automation of all processes at once is challenging for many job sites. Some companies prefer to first introduce remote operation technology to address existing issues before progressing toward full automation.
To support this transition, we develop electrification and remote operation technologies for construction machinery, enabling a step-by-step approach to automation.
